In version 5.6, the AggreGate platform has become even more user-friendly and web-oriented.
AggreGate Store is our new approach to deployment of AggreGate servers in your network. Now you can distribute your own AggreGate applications for the use in your corporate network or on public access. Download and plug in only the modules and solutions that are required for your project. Add them when necessary as your project grows. Optimize your system resources.
Flexible device driver acts as a "driver construction kit". It allows to connect devices that use proprietary protocols by performing deep configuration of the system. It eliminates the need for development of a dedicated device driver in the Java programming language.
Welcome a new analytics tool in the AggreGate toolbox – the event correlator – a powerful streaming data processing engine! The correlator is designed for real-time data analyzing and processing, finding specific patterns, identifying trends and much more.
AggreGate web interface is given the ability to function autonomously, being managed by the Tomcat web server. A web application that is deployed separately is not bound to a specific server but can connect to any other server.
The license checking process can now be centralized and automated by the integration with a license server. AggreGate server administrators no longer need to monitor and manually modify the validity period of plugins included in a license.
Other major improvements include:
New Data Table types
Self Monitoring Dashboard
Deeper Permission Control
Scaling in UI Builder
Avatar Driver for allows working with another server’s devices as if they were available locally, etc.

Using the full-fledged AggreGate IoT Platform on microcomputers enables you to build very complex systems.
These hardware-software systems can operate locally even without access to the central controlling server.
Tibbo LTPS, being a modern microcomputer, is successfully applied for building a remote access control system (ACS).
Thanks to AggreGate, it’s possible to implement the most complicated logic, control, monitoring and data collection scenarios for access to premises and parking space. And thanks to Tibbo LTPS, Tibbits and Tibbo sensors, you can connect devices via almost any protocol.
Ask Tibbo Systems experts about using the solution in your projects: http://aggregate.tibbo.com/company/contacts.html.
AggreGate training held in the atmosphere of oriental hospitality… What could be better? Our IT Management Solutions Architect, Anton Grachevnikov, returned from Tehran having trained our Iranian partner SGI to use AggreGate IoT Platform for implementing projects in various industries.
And this has already borne fruit as we are facing a few interesting joint projects! Some of them involve our partners from other countries. We will definitely tell you about these forthcoming projects soon.
Meanwhile, we remind you that you can also become a certified AggreGate engineer and take full advantage of the Internet of Things by getting trained in your home country (we will happily fly to your place 🙂 ) or in our European office.
Check the information about the training options here: http://aggregate.tibbo.com/en/services/training.html
One of the main improvements in the IoT AggreGate Platform 5.5 release was machine learning, which gave data processing professionals a chance to extract required knowledge while analyzing time series streams and large data sets.
And more recently, we have added several algorithms allowing you to create trainable units with an option of online learning.
Such trainable units have two important features. The first is ability to train on a data set that is too large to fit into memory. The second is ability to update with new data that wasn’t available during initial learning.
In other words, a trainable unit can be trained on available data, used for predictions, and get updated as soon as new data arrives, which will improve the quality of further predictions.
Importantly, the trainable unit in this case is not trained from scratch, but updated, modifying its existing state with new training data set.
The plus point is that it takes significantly less time to complete online learning than would be needed for learning from scratch.
AggreGate IoT Platform is the solution primarily suitable for industrial automation, large enterprise and datacenter network monitoring and control. Nevertheless, people from different countries are eager to buy our IoT solution for their house or office digitalization.
This time, the license goes to Sweden to make one more house smarter and more comfortable.
Our customer purchased two TPP2 generation 2 boards with enclosures, one board with a display and the other one without a display. He equipped them with the GA1000 Wi-Fi module and purchased plenty of Tibbits to do experiments and learn how to use them.
One of the TPP2 units was sitting on his desk as a "lab-unit" where he developed and tested different solutions in Tibbo Basic, for instance, RTD with PT500 and PT1000 sensors, digital outputs controlled by time schedules, agent connection to the free AggreGate SCADA/HMI to name a few.
He did some experiments with Modbus frames from the RS485-port (Tibbit #05) to a Modbus simulator on his PC with good results. This was hopefully something he could use later on to get data from electricity meters, and eventually other Modbus compatible devices.
The second TPP2 unit was installed in customer’s garage where he connected two PT500 temperature sensors, one measuring the temperature in the garage and the other one measuring the outdoor temperature. It was possible to use it to control the temperature in the garage later on with a set point switching the electric heaters on and off.
The unit also downloaded correct time from internet time-servers via NTP and sunrise/sunset time for the customer’s location in northern Sweden from a website which provided the service. He used the sunrise/sunset time combined with a time schedule to control a digital output which turned the outdoor illumination on and off instead of using an outdoor light sensor.
Our customer also used another digital output with time schedule to control an electrical outlet for his car engine heater, so then he could switch it on and off from AggreGate without leaving the house.
The unit was also equipped with the barometric pressure sensor (Tibbit #35). The customer used the historic logging feature in AggreGate to store both temperature and barometric pressure data displayed on a dashboard.
He also started to develop a PI-controller which he intended to use in the other TPP2 unit to control the heating system of his house, with outdoor compensated flow temperature for the radiators, time schedules for energy-saving during the night and when the house was empty, automatic pump switch-off when heating was not needed. Right now it's controlled by a simple Danfoss regulator.
The project with our Ukrainian partner, Novitec Company, is a good case in point. The project is implemented on AggreGate IoT Platform basis, or to be more precise, on the derived solution ‒ AggreGate Fleet Manager.
The complex system remotely monitors push dozers of SevGok Company, one of the largest European mining enterprises and the leading Ukrainian mining company with the complete cycle of raw materials preparation for metallurgical industry.
The onboard telemetry system is installed on Novitec Company technological transport. The client-server software is implemented at the customer site for telemetry data acquisition.
Thus, it is now possible to track fleet movement, control fuel consumption, monitor onboard electronics quality parameters, process data, transmit it to the enterprise accounting system, and provide system clients workstations operation.
The solution deployment allows SevGok to reduce fleet operation costs, improve efficiency, predict failures and downtime, create workstations for remote fleet management in real time, and notify of emergencies.
The system also comes with automated data transfer to enterprise accounting system, easy graphical, textual and cartographic reports creation. To cap it all, due to rich functionality and flexibility, engineers can redesign and enhance AggreGate solution at any time.
In future, Novitec Company is going to develop and deploy the system at other production units.
Tibbo Systems specialists can easily provide you with the suitable solution for successful implementation of any possible project.
From this moment on, Tibbo Systems employs in-house corporate CRM system based on our AggreGate IoT Platform. At the system core, there is our new Classes module, i.e. relational or graph data storage access interface. We used Classes to model typical CRM objects (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Agreements, etc.) and their relations.
In addition to default CRM features, the solution comes with document flow module (migrated from SharePoint). The shift to AggreGate CRM system allowed to reduce costs and integrate the solution with other corporate systems for full-fledged and well-timed access to business data.
We love Dynamics CRM but it's time to say bye since our own baby grew up. The whole CRM implementation project took 4 months of single person's labor time including data migration.
